A bit about me

Hello there! My name is Matthew and I am a 19 year old student studying computer security at the university of South Wales. I’m in my 2nd year of uni at the moment and plan to get experience in the lead up to year 3, to do this I will be working part time at Wales’ Cyber Resilience Centre and am trying to do as many capture the flags as I possibly can when I have free time.

My goals and interests

Obviously I am very interested in cyber security and I plan to be working in this field when I get out of university however what are my goals? Well…Currently I am trying to gather money and try to get some Certifications out of the way before I leave university, I have the eJPT but still think If I could get one more that would be great. Another thing is that I am looking for work experience so I will be ready for when I leave my university looking for full time work. I am hoping this website will also help to show what I am capable of to further employers.
